Royal Lepage brand #1 in Ottawa again!


January 9, 2006 - A study, based on figures compiled using the Ottawa Real Estate Board's MLS system, found that Royal Lepage is the number one real estate brand in Ottawa, by far, conducting over 80% more business than the number 2 brand, Remax.

The Royal Lepage brand accounted for more than 35% of all the transactions in the city¹ while the next closest competitor, Remax brand, had barely more than 19% market share for the same period¹.

Coldwell Banker had 16.4% market share¹ and Keller Williams had only 7.8%¹. The remaining brands, including Century 21, Sutton Group, Prudential, Exit, Minto and all others, did not meet the minimum 5% market share required to be ranked in the study¹.

It seems clear for 2006 that the Royal Lepage Brand is likely to retain the #1 position throughout the year.
