Chris & Anita Hoare's real estate web site draws huge numbers!
April 14, 2005 - In 2004, Chris & Anita Hoare with Royal Lepage Performance Realty in Ottawa re-launched their web site, www.OttawaHomes.net. A slighlty new look, some improved content and a substantial marketing push have really paid off. From February 1 until April 14 there have been over 160,000 hits, an average of more than 2,000 per day.
"We include our web site on all our printed material," said Although they are averaging 65,000 hits per month, a phenominal amount for a local web site, Chris & Anita are setting their sights higher. "We would like to average 100,000 hits per month by this time next year." By comparison, in a press release in August of 2001, www.OttawaHomes.net was touting average monthly hits of 4,400 and expecting to reach their target of 10,000 hits per month by 2002.
"It is nice to have the big numbers but what counts is how it translates into service for our clients. Exposure on the internet is critical in todays market and there are very few other Realtors who could come close to delivering this kind of traffic to their listings."
Chris and Anita plan to roll out some new services in the next month along with another site redesign. "A new survey which begins today will ask our web site visitors which features they value most. We will use the results of the survey to roll-out our new services."
